Overview
The Cipher Helmet Lock is a remarkable product designed to provide a
convenient and secure solution for helmet storage. This kit contains all the non-3D printed
hardware components necessary to assemble a Cipher Helmet Lock. It can be fixed onto a bicycle handle and
used to lock a helmet by setting a password and inserting the helmet strap. To complete the project, you
need to download the model files on MakerWorld and 3D print the parts.
Creator Program: The
Creator Program is a collaborative program between Bambu Lab and creators. Creators unleash their creativity to
design 3D printing models, while Bambu Lab provides compatible hardware kits for those designs.
Locking Mechanism
Password-Protected:
The lock
features a password-based locking system. You can choose your desired numbers as
ciphers and set them in the P6 and P7 parts. The operation of setting and using
the password is intuitive.
Anti-Cracking Features:
The lock has an
anti-cracking mode that adds an extra layer of security. When the wrong combination
is entered and the lock release button P11 is pushed, the P3 part will move,
preventing unauthorized access. Even if the correct numbers are turned on the cipher
gears (P6 and P7), the lock will not open until the anti-cracking mode is
deactivated.
